Job summary

CVS Health in Evansville, IN is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team and apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will follow SOPs, assist with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and gain exposure to store operations, patient care, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy program enrollment.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state/regulation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure timely, safe prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs to maintain accuracy and patient safety in daily operations.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunization activities where allowed by law.
• Support inventory tasks, folding into store operations and cycle counts as directed.
• Assist in telephonic prescriptions and communication with prescribers when applicable.
