Job summary

CVS Health invites qualified graduates to join as Graduate Pharmacy Interns, applying didactic training to real-world pharmacy practice within a 120‑day roadmap. Under supervision, you’ll support pharmacy operations, emphasize patient safety, and learn SOPs while collaborating with pharmacists and district leaders.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and other services
• Counsel patients when appropriate under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions as allowed by state law
• Coach and mentor pharmacy team members to share best practices
• Travel to stores in the market to cover scheduling needs as required
