Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in California is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our retail pharmacies. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap with key learning experiences and leadership exposure.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing, patient care, and empathetic service. Immunization experience may be gained where permitted, with flexible scheduling to support store needs.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly and accurately.
• Assist with immunization services and other patient-facing activities where allowed by state regulations.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows at each station to ensure compliance and safety.
• Provide empathetic customer service and clear communication with patients and team members.
• Attend training roadmap milestones and participate in KLEs and leadership interactions.
