Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to learn the best patient experience by assisting the pharmacist and team, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Under supervision, you will help with inventory, customer service, and comply with policies; salary ranges from $18.00 to $31.00 per hour depending on geography, skills and experience. Eligible students enrolled in a Pharmacy program may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and pharmacy team to process prescriptions.
• Provide patient counseling and health services within scope.
• Enter and review prescriptions using pharmacy systems.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and store conditions.
• Deliver exemplary customer experience.
