Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice and advance toward a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations, emphasizing patient safety, DUR, and SOPs.

You’ll support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service. You will learn to work with leaders, perform immunizations when allowed, and contribute to a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the PostGraduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate patient safety focus, accuracy in prescription labeling, and SOP adherence.
• Provide empathetic customer service and assist pharmacy team to ensure timely prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling where allowed by law and policy.
