Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy team in Indiana. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under supervision of a preceptor and District Leader, following a documented 120-day training roadmap to enhance clinical knowledge and store operations.

You will participate in patient counseling, immunizations when allowed by state regulations, and supporting safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while developing for increased responsibilities

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a US-accredited program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days.
• Must have intern/technician licensure in progress.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations and patient care under supervision.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed.
• Provide counseling and educate patients on medications.
• Maintain SOPs and ensure patient safety.
• Volunteer to travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
