Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS stores. You’ll work under a preceptor to complete a 120-day training roadmap, supporting pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

You will learn SOPs, enhance patient safety, and contribute to a caring, inclusive culture while gradually taking on greater responsibilities under supervision.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Eligible to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services as allowed by state law.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy in all interactions.
• Provide empathetic customer service and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs.
