Job summary

CVS Health in Toms River, NJ is seeking a third-year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you’ll help deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while learning core pharmacy operations.

This part‑time internship emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and customer service, with immunization eligibility guidance when regulations allow. Regular weekend availability and physical stamina are expected.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to attend regularly, including weekends and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a safe environment.
• Assist with patient safety, regulatory requirements, inventory, and workflow management.
• Provide excellent customer service and support pharmacy operations.
• Lead with Heart and collaborate to improve patient outcomes.
• Support ongoing safety and quality initiatives as part of the team.
