Job summary

CVS Health in Norman, Oklahoma is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team and help deliver compassionate care to patients. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you will support patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow management, and customer service, while developing professional practice and immunization readiness.

Part-time schedule, competitive pay, and benefits eligibility based on hours; immunization eligibility may be pursued as regulations

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
• Regular attendance, including weekends; physically able to perform duties

Responsibilities

• Lead with Heart – demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues
• Ensure patient safety and high standards of pharmacy practice
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage inventory
• Support workflow management excluding final prescription verification
• Collaborate with pharmacists to provide optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate records and complete required trainings
