Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy settings and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the guidance of a preceptor, you will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, assist with dispensing, and learn store, district, and regional operations while maintaining patient safety and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, prescriptions, and volumes.
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions appropriately.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift items, and perform clinical tasks.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
