Job summary

CVS Health in Texas invites pharmacy interns to join an energized team supporting pharmacists and technicians. This part-time intern role offers hands-on experience in prescription fulfillment, immunization support, and patient interactions across store locations.

You will learn to follow SOPs, assist with immunizations under supervision, and develop clinical and technical knowledge while delivering compassionate customer service in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regularly follow SOPs to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health
• Assist with pharmacy workflow for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Counsel and support patients under supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescriber when allowed by state regulation
• Support immunization and vaccination services where trained and certified
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, compliance, and patient privacy
