Job summary
CVS Health in Corona, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team under a licensed Preceptor while you learn through ExperienceRx. You’ll participate in the prescription filling process, provide patient counseling, collaborate with healthcare professionals, assist with health screenings and immunizations where permitted, and maintain excellent customer service and safety.
Requirements include active Pharmacy Intern license in CA and current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of employment (CA).
- Currently enrolled in a School of Pharmacy.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List; no pending felony charges related to controlled substances.
Responsibilities
- Participates in all aspects of the prescription filling process.
- Provides patient counseling and supports pharmacy patients and front-store customers.
- Collaborates with healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
- Offers health screenings and immunizations where appropriate.
- Assists with inventory management and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains patient safety and quality standards.
