Job summary

CVS Health offers a structured program for US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates to learn and apply their didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy practice. Under supervision of a preceptor, you will complete a mixed learning plan to develop skills, complete internship hours within 18 months, and prepare for Pharmacist licensure exams.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and high-quality patient care, while traveling to stores in the market as needed to support

Qualifications

• Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy as a prerequisite to training at CVS
• FPGEC certification required to pursue US internship and licensure
• Pharmacist licensure in the target state within 120 days after completing US internship hours
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required by state rules and CVS policies

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient care
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and pharmacy workflow
• Counsel and answer medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Support immunization services and other patient care activities where permitted by state law
• Maintain accuracy in dispensing, labeling, and patient safety during shifts
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication with patients and team members

Education

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy

FPGEC certification

Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of US Intern hours

Intern and/or technician licensure in process or obtained
