CVS Health is offering a structured internship-like program for US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates to complete required hours and prepare for Pharmacist licensure. Trainees will work under a preceptor, following a mixed learning plan to build knowledge, clinical skills, and leadership capabilities within CVS pharmacy operations.

Roles include supporting pharmacists in care delivery, immunizations, and patient counseling while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• Foreign pharmacy graduate must pass FPGEE and TOEFL to start US internship.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 120 days after internship hours.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide compassionate customer service and education at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under licensed pharmacist supervision.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed by state law.
• Maintain SOPs, records, and adherence to safety and privacy standards.
