Job summary

CVS Health offers a structured Pharmacy Intern program for U.S. Non-Accredited Foreign Graduates. You will complete required internship hours, prepare for licensure, and develop clinical and leadership skills under a preceptor in our pharmacy teams.

During the 18‑month program you’ll learn hands‑on patient care, SOPs, and pharmacy operations, with opportunities to participate in immunizations and expanded services where allowed by law. Successful completion leads toward a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Foreign graduate from a non-U.S. accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• FPGEC certification required.
• Pharmacist licensure in the state within 120 days of completing U.S. Intern hours.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage patient health.
• Assist pharmacy workflow for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer medical questions under supervision.
• Help with immunizations and point-of-care services where allowed by law.
• Support pharmacy operations and maintain accuracy in documentation.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive team environment and respond to patient needs.
