Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd year pharmacy intern position in a hospital-like retail setting. The intern will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care within the CVS Health pharmacy team.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory and workflow support, and customer service. Strong communication and presentation skills, plus enrollment in an ACPE-accredited program, are required.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program enrollment or admission.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to regularly attend including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist under supervision and ensure safe retail pharmacy operation.
• Handle patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and customer service.
• Support inventory and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.
• Engage in patient care programs to promote health outcomes.
