Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team and contribute to safe, high-quality patient care. Under licensed pharmacist supervision, you’ll support dispensing, patient safety, and regulatory adherence while developing professional skills in a collaborative retail pharmacy setting.

You’ll participate in patient care programs, assist with inventory and workflow, and build strong communication with patients and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead with empathy and patient-centered care.
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with inventory and workflow management.
• Provide excellent customer service and support the pharmacy team.
• Support clinical care programs and immunization efforts when regulations permit.
