Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication counseling, ensure accurate dispensing, and assist in maintaining regulatory compliance. The role includes immunizations, drug therapy reviews, and contributing to the shift lead responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Pharm D degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies; helps establish procedures.
• Responsible for opening/closing the pharmacy and shift-change duties.
• Uses pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and suggests system enhancements.
• Supports immunizations and wellness services and follows up on third-party issues.
