Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team in Newark, NJ. Under supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver exceptional patient care and support safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

This part-time position includes benefits and immunization eligibility depending on hours worked. You’ll engage in patient safety, inventory management, and workflow support while developing professional skills and contributing to CVS Health’s mission

Qualifications

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
0-3 years relevant work experience.
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends; able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Lead with Heart – show empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues.
Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure safe and effective operations.
Support inventory and workflow management; assist with customer service.
Contribute to maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
