Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our retail pharmacy team in Shawnee, Kansas. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help deliver exceptional patient care and support our mission to improve health care access and quality.

You will participate in patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and daily pharmacy operations while developing your professional skills in a real-world setting at CVS Health.

Role

While working as a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. This includes but is not limited to:

• Patient Safety
• Pharmacy Professional Practice
• Regulatory Requirements

• Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification

Primary Roles And Responsibility

A key component of the pharmacy intern role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. Additionally, you will:
