Job summary

CVS Health in Missouri is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join our pharmacy team under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will contribute to patient care and safe medication practices while building hands-on experience.

Your responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service as you grow with the program.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety across pharmacy operations.
• Maintain pharmacy professional practice standards.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements governing pharmacy services.
• Support quality assurance programs and processes.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Support workflow management while excluding final prescription verification.

Role

While working as a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. This includes but is not limited to:
