Job summary

OHSU is seeking an Informatics Supervisor, Pharmacy Services to lead informatics initiatives, supervise staff, and develop educational programs. The role oversees service design, process improvement, and interdisciplinary coordination to enhance patient care across Oregon and SW Washington campuses.

The position involves mentoring students/residents, directing service delivery, and contributing to clinical informatics strategies within the University Hospital system.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or BS in Pharmacy (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of Pharmacist experience.
• Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required at start of position.

Responsibilities

• Process/Service Monitoring: determines, coordinates, and schedules staff to meet workload and ensures standards and regulations are met.
• Supervision of Staff: recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules, and supervises staff; sets performance standards and conducts appraisals.
• Program Design & Development: develops programs and systems for informatics and quality services.
• Process Improvement: develops new/improved services and continuously improves patient and provider care.
• Departmental Interdisciplinary Coordination: coordinates services with Pharmacy, nursing and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Teaching: coordinates education/training of pharmacy students and residents; may lecture and participate in research.
