Job summary

Cub Pharmacy in Minnesota is offering a Grad Intern opportunity for future Pharmacists. As a Grad Intern you will learn in a Twin Cities location with experienced Pharmacists and prepare to become a Float or Staff Pharmacist after graduation.

The internship develops clinical and pharmacy operations skills within a patient-focused team and serves as a pipeline for becoming a Cub Pharmacist after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program in the United States.
• Must hold a valid state intern license (when student is eligible).
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week on average.

Responsibilities

• Takes steps to fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and policies; prepares quantities with appropriate labeling.
• Assists customers and physicians with questions about prescriptions and health products.
• Provides professional consultation in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Maintains state and federal record keeping for controlled substances.
• Uses pharmacy software to access patient records and verify third-party parameters.
• Monitors and orders products from distribution sources as needed.
