Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Maine is hiring a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Brunswick, Maine. Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions for delivery, verify information, apply labels, and ensure accuracy and timely completion of orders.

The role requires 1+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and state-appropriate pharmacy technician licensure; national certification (PTCB) is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication to complete all orders.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep the workspace neat and organized; assist in physical inventory.

Education

High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)

Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)
