Job summary

Right Dose Pharmacy in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to assist the pharmacist in filling and packaging prescriptions for delivery. You will verify information, label packaging, scan items, and help manage inventory with accuracy and speed.

The role requires a High School diploma and pharmacy technician credentials per state requirements; National Certification is preferred. Shifts vary Mon-Fri 6a-7p, with every 3rd weekend.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience; technical knowledge/skills may substitute.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Maintain inventory and assist in physical inventory and stocking.
