Job summary

Right Dose Pharmacy, a Guardian family member, is hiring a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Ankeny, Iowa. Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions accurately for delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required per state.
• 1+ years related experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired meds and keeping stock neat.
• Meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to dispensing of prescription medications.
