The role focuses on order processing support and assisting in preparation and distribution of prescriptions under company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must obtain and maintain registration with the State Board of Pharmacy in good standing.
• PTCB or Except certification.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic PC skills to start up/shut down computers, navigate programs, save/print files.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations by entering data per Walgreens procedures and HIPAA guidelines.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, and transition inventory with attention to quality control.
• Count, fill, label, pack and ship prescriptions; maintain machinery and a clean work area.
• Resolve third party rejects by gathering information and resubmitting per plan requirements.
• Assist pharmacists at the facility and other locations; escalate issues to senior staff when needed.
