Job summary

Southern Pharmacy Services, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Kernersville, NC. Under supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions accurately for delivery to customers.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, active Pharmacy Technician licensure/certification, and 1+ year of related experience. Weekend rotation and flexible hours are involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 1+ year of related experience in pharmacy fulfillment preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to packaging, scan and place into correct bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty if any medication does not scan properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply for orders.
• Help maintain inventory levels and assist with physical inventory as needed.
• Meet the pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with supervisors to keep workflow smooth and efficient.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and replenish stock.
• Comply with applicable laws and policies for dispensing medications.
• Other duties as assigned.
