Walgreens in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide order processing support for fulfillment and assist in preparing and distributing prescription medication.

You will follow HIPAA guidelines, enter registrations and refills, troubleshoot missing information, and support pharmacists across locations.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, state registration, PTCB or certification, fluent English, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain and maintain state Board of Pharmacy registration.
• PTCB or equivalent certification.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic PC and keyboarding skills.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and perform push/pull tasks.
• Willing to work flexible shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Process new patient registrations and enter data into the system.
• Handle prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refills.
• Troubleshoot missing information and interpret SIG codes.
• Process, count, label, pack and ship prescriptions; maintain equipment.
• Assist pharmacists and escalate issues to senior staff as needed.
