Responsibilities

• Places prescription containers into a bag or sack for delivery to the patient or retail pharmacy, once accuracy has been verified by a pharmacist.
• Operates auto-baggers, manual pack, and bulk stations.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Prepares the paperwork and compiles medicine for delivery orders and mail-outs.
• Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
• Keeps pharmacy supplies well-stocked.
• Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
• Reports to work when scheduled and on time.

General Function: Works in a fast-paced production environment known as an automated Central Fill Pharmacy.

Performs functions of packing, shipping and/or package sortation of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Packages prescription in bags once accuracy is verified.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

Visual requirements include vision at 20 inches or less with or without correction, field of vision, and color vision.

Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and exert a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: reaching, twisting, rotating, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

This position is exposed to noise on a daily basis.

This is a fast-paced work environment in an office and warehouse setting with significant pressure.
