Job summary

PriceChopper in Pennsylvania is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to oversee the dispensing of prescriptions, maintain accurate records, and ensure patient understanding of medications. You will communicate with prescribers, counsel patients, and participate in immunization and MTM services to support safe, effective therapy.

Qualifications

Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the state of practice.
Immunization certification required.
Strong communication (verbal, written, electronic).
Ability to lead and manage others.
Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications with accuracy; maintain records and handle third‑party adjudication.
Counsel patients on drug usage, interactions, and side effects; monitor therapy and adherence.
Participate in immunization programs and MTM services.
Supervise pharmacy staff and train interns/technicians; ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
Engage in store and community health initiatives; support continuous quality improvement.
