Job summary
PriceChopper is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations and provide patient counseling. You will dispense medications, review orders, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting immunization services and MTM programs.
The role requires a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, active license, immunization certification, and strong leadership and communication skills. This on-site position includes supervising staff and maintaining a compliant, patient-focused pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (5 year program) and license in good standing.
- Immunization Certification required.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications with accuracy and proper records.
- Counsel patients on medications, interactions and side effects.
- Participate in immunization and MTM programs.
- Supervise pharmacy staff and train interns/technicians.
- Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and quality programs.
