Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of North Carolina LLC is hiring a Pharmacy Fill Technician for a part-time, on-site role in Charlotte, NC. You will support pharmacists by accurately preparing prescriptions, labeling, scanning, and final verification.

Responsibilities include pulling medications, processing orders, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Prior pharmacy experience and state certification are preferred, with benefits and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

  • Brand-name and generic medications knowledge.
  • Proficient reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.
  • Able to work at a moderate speed and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Follows safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
  • Pharmacy tech licenses/certifications required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Pull/pick medications from shelves and pre-pack racks.
  • Accurately check final preparation before pharmacist verification.
  • Fill daily drug orders accurately and prioritize tasks.
  • Assist in processing returned drugs and dispose per procedure.
  • Maintain clean, organized workstations and stock supplies.

Additionally, they assist in maintaining a well-organized workspace and ensure compliance with regulations.This is a part-time position where the hours may vary.Duties/Responsibilities:Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (pre-pack racks)Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to the pharmacistFill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently and in a timely and prioritized manner, under the supervision of a pharmacistAssist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedureAssist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low-volume timesPackage materials and products manuallyFollow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAAMaintain clean/organized workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed each shiftAlert the pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properlyComply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress codeOvertime, holidays, and weekends may be required and/or expectedOther duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needsQUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
