Job summary

Walgreens in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a customer-focused Retail/Pharmacy Associate to deliver friendly checkout service and support pharmacy operations under supervision. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and help maintain a positive store environment.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, assisting pharmacists with prescription processing, stocking shelves, and ensuring compliance and cleanliness across the store.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
