Job summary

Stanford Health Care in California is seeking a senior clinical pharmacy leader to guide evidence-based drug utilization across the system. You will design cross-department initiatives, coach pharmacists and residents, and ensure safety and cost-effectiveness while aligning with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with clinicians and operations to drive value-based care, develop educational materials, and lead a team focused on optimizing medication use and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• 5–7 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a health system.
• ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency or equivalent experience.
• CA-RPH license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, analyze complex datasets, and implement clinical pharmacy interventions to drive evidence-based, safe, and cost-effective drug use.
• Develop and drive clinical and operational strategies to shift drug utilization while maintaining safety and compliance.
• Direct, coach and support operational leaders, pharmacists, residents, and students to ensure high performance of utilization initiatives.
• Create and implement policies related to clinical pharmacy practices, formulary, and medication management.
