PharMerica, a long‑term care pharmacy services provider, seeks a Pharmacy Director in Horsham, PA. The role directs operations across locations, manages costs, and leads a large team delivering high‑volume prescription services for hospitals and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have PA pharmacist licensure, strong leadership, communication, organization, and performance improvement skills, with experience in large operations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA or PharmD preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Controls pharmacy costs to meet or exceed budgeted cost per script.
• Provides leadership to build an effective team and develop associates to improve performance.
• Maintains positive customer relationships; attends quarterly business reviews.
• Communicates with clients and resolves issues with stakeholders (DONs, Administrators, Staff RNs).
• Implements, maintains and reports on core processes.
• Ensures regulatory compliance.
• Improves dispensing efficiency and accuracy.
• Manages staffing and scheduling to optimize production and control labor costs.
• Oversees payroll and personnel issues; manages inventory to meet client needs.
• Implements policies and provides timely reports.
