Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy Services is seeking a dependable Backup Delivery Driver to provide scheduled and on-call coverage across Local, North, South, Hospice, and Transport routes in Eugene, OR. A company-provided vehicle is used for all deliveries and tasks.

The role mainly requires Monday-Friday afternoon/evening shifts with occasional weekend coverage. Training on processing systems and Toter/Scanner duties may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology.

Responsibilities

• Cover scheduled vacations, call-ins, and additional route needs.
• Safely drive assigned routes in all weather and road conditions.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Perform final medication checks before departure.
• Sort, scan, and bag medications for routes and organize deliveries.
• Check totes to ensure orders are complete before departure.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Pick up returns and exchange emergency kits as needed.
• Assist with processing, Toter, and Scanner duties when needed.
