Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a delivery professional to responsibly handle radiopharmaceuticals and oncology pharmaceuticals along a scheduled route. The role starts with a $1,000 new hire sign-on bonus and includes 40-hour weeks, mostly Monday–Friday 4am–12pm, with possible weekend/holiday rotations.

You will scan orders, deliver to customers, and maintain equipment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• May require vendor credentialing.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as part of a rotation.
• Ability to use computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Delivers to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan orders, confirm accuracy and navigate.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Schedule

• 40 hours per week. Scheduled hours are typically Monday – Friday 4am – 12pm
• May also work in weekend & holiday shift rotation (2am-9am), or on-call shift rotations.
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as part of a rotation
• Ability to use computers and tablets
