Guardian Pharmacy Services in Mountlake Terrace, WA is seeking a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced environment behind the scenes, ensuring accurate prescription processing and timely delivery. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and reliability in daily operations.

The position features start times from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM and end times from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with one weekend day per week and one full weekend off per month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related pharmacy experience in a high-volume environment.
• WA State Pharmacy Technician License required.
• High School Diploma or GED as required by state regulations.
• Experience with Framework preferred.
• Knowledge of brand-name and generic medications and SIG codes.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refilled prescriptions into Framework and other pharmacy systems accurately and efficiently.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to help ensure timely processing and dispensing.
• Enter appropriate notes and cycle-fill coding into the pharmacy system.
• Calculate and/or verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.
• Receive, evaluate, process, and follow up with doctors’ offices on assigned refills.
• Maintain accurate data entry records for cycle medications, fill requests, renewals, and new cycle orders.
• Use pharmacy systems effectively, including document imaging and legacy pharmacy computer systems.
• Understand and manage Cycle processes to help meet delivery deadlines.
• Consistently meet the pharmacy’s established accuracy and productivity standards.
• Troubleshoot, research, and resolve customer service issues using your pharmacy knowledge and experience.
