Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required per state.
• National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years related experience.
• Advanced computer skills and pharmacy systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter and refill prescriptions accurately in the pharmacy system.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify correct dosage and maintain proper notes in the system.
• Respond to customer calls with courteous service and routing as needed.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory and processing prescriptions.
