Job summary

Diamond Pharmacy Services is seeking Data Entry Technicians to support pharmacists by transcribing orders to patient profiles, processing prescriptions with the barcode system, and maintaining accurate patient and drug information in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

You will coordinate with facility staff, physicians, and pharmacists, document discrepancies, and keep logs, while upholding confidentiality and a neat, professional appearance. Drug screen and background check required.

Qualifications

• Urine drug screen and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes orders to profiles for check by pharmacists.
• Runs prescriptions using barcode system.
• Communicates questions or problems with facility staff, physicians, and pharmacists, documenting discrepancies in orders.
• Uses fax server system.
• Maintains fax machines.
• Maintains accurate error/complaint logs.
• Maintains accurate customer files, which include birth date, active medications and drug allergies.
• Forwards IV orders to RNs.
• Organizers one's available time to meet deadlines/quotas.
• Provides other departments with needed information (Billing, MAR, Packers).
• Performs other duties as requested.
• Maintains neat and clean personal appearance.
• Maintains neat and clean work area.
• Maintains the confidentiality of all patient and company information
