Qualifications

Overview




Data entry position in a fast-paced call center environment, supporting customers of national closed-door pharmacy supporting senior living, assisting living, group home, hospitals, rehab facilities, and other Med D / Med A institutions. Primary duties include answering inbound calls, evaluating medication order / delivery issues, and facility calls. You will provide proper resolutions by using resource and national board of pharmacy protocols, respond to the needs of customers, processing orders using AS400 and Docutrack.

Must be flexible with schedule. Friday-Sunday is required.

Pharmacy Hours: Mon-Thurs 2 PM- 9 AM following day. Fri 2pm and stays open until Mon 9 AM






Responsibilities




    Supports incoming calls for medication order entry in a contact center environment for PharMerica pharmacies afterhours
  • Processes incoming medication requests for new or refill medications
  • Files documentation as required by pharmacy regulations
  • Follows state board of pharmacy rules / regulations
  • Responds to customer inquiries and provide timely response to ensure resolution
  • Researches medication status requests using AS400
  • Ability to review and interpret pharmacy notes in AS400 & Docutrack to take appropriate action





Qualifications




EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Registered Pharmacy Technician License, Required - active.

* Previous pharmacy experience required. Minimum 1 year.
* Previous call center experience preferred - minimum 1 year.


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
* Computer and MS Office software knowledge.
* Excellent data entry skills.
* Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines.
* Ability to multi-task using navigating between multiple applications & systems.
* Excellent customer service skills - including active listening skills.
* Ability to show empathy in their interaction with customers.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management.
* Problem-solving skills - Ability to troubleshoot customer issues and address concerns effectively.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

**To perform the duties of this position will require sitting,standing and walking, and typing on a keyboard with fingers and occasionally bending and reaching. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 21-30 lbs**
