PharMerica in Grand Prairie, TX is hiring a Full Time Pharmacy Technician/Data Entry Technician in a non-retail, closed‑door setting. You will handle order entry, data entry, and packaging under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State regulation may require pharmacy technician license/registration.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent data entry skills essential.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders for new/refill medications.
• File documentation per pharmacy regulations.
• Answer customer inquiries as needed.
• Fill drug kits under supervision with accuracy and aseptic technique.
• Match labels and delivery manifests to source documents.
• Retrieve medications from stock and package in correct system (blister packs, vials).
• Pre-package medications following standard procedures.
• Assist in billing and other computer-operated tasks.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment.
• Check equipment calibration and safety.
• Rotate stock as required.

Our Pharmacy group focuses on providing exceptional customer service and meeting the pharmacy needs for hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, and other specialized care centers nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Order Entry for new/refill medications.
• File documentation as required by pharmacy regulations.
• Respond to customer inquiries as necessary.
