Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Michigan in Grand Rapids, MI, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician. You will enter prescriptions, triage faxes, and verify dosages with care. Schedule is M-F 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, with one weekend every six weeks required. All applicants must be licensed in Michigan.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and quality of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or as per state requirements.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required; national certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions accurately in the operating system.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding; verify correct dosage.
• Respond to customer calls with care and professional courtesy; route calls appropriately.
• Maintain data entry records and assist with filing, inventory, and order processing as needed.
