Qualifications
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician certification is required.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a pharmacy data entry or operations role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience using pharmacy software and data management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy management system.
- Investigate and resolve billing rejections.
- Answer and manage inbound telephone calls from patients, providers, and account managers.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service related to prescriptions, billing, and medications.
- Communicate with providers' offices to clarify orders and obtain information.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing.
