Pharmacy Customer Support Representative

Job Overview

The primary purpose of the Pharmacy Customer Support Representative is to be a customer-facing resource who is attentive, supportive, collaborative, and able to maintain a trusting relationship with the nursing facility Director of Nursing, Executive Director, and nursing staff members serviced by PSG Pharmacy Solutions Group.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Experience
  • Valid Licensed Pharmacy Technician with National Certification or Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and good communication skills
  • Ability to travel daily and overnight
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Framework, ECM, and EMR is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong work ethic and integrity aligned with PSG Pharmacy values
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective planning, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine onsite visits to nursing facilities to foster positive relationships
  • Act as a liaison with pharmacy operations to ensure excellent service and follow-up
  • Report service issues and complete documentation within 24 hours
  • Assist facility staff with medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling
  • Use remote access to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with nursing facilities
  • Provide training on pharmacy procedures and equipment
  • Perform medication audits and resolve resident issues as needed
  • Review resident information via PCC system and coordinate with healthcare providers
  • Lead customer service meetings and handle other assigned duties
