Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Midland, TX is seeking a customer-focused team member to support pharmacy operations and front-end duties.

You will greet customers, process transactions at the register, and assist the pharmacist under supervision to access patient and drug information and process prescriptions. You will help with inventory, product placement, and basic pharmacy tasks while adhering to state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications (preferred).
• Good computer skills (preferred).
• Knowledge of store inventory control (preferred).
• PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provides customer service in-store, including product recommendations and assistance.
• Maintains store cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with policies.
