Job summary

Walgreens in Oak Forest, IL, is seeking a team member to provide outstanding customer service and support both retail and pharmacy tasks. You will assist customers, operate registers, and help pharmacists under supervision while maintaining clean shelves and efficient store operations.

Applicants should have basic computer skills, a positive attitude, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred to enhance performance and growth

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription counting and weighing.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Operate cash register, process payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision and help in dispensing activities.
• Maintain shelves, displays, and conduct stock/merchandising tasks.
• Support pharmacy and store operations including inventory management.
• Provide photo area services and assist with web order pickups.
