Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members to enhance customer satisfaction.

Operations

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend products and assist customers in locating items.
• Handle transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain store cleanliness, inventory, and merchandise presentation.
• Support pharmacy duties such as entering patient information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, including pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification and participate in ongoing training and education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months retail experience preferred.
• Experience with Walgreens or pharmacy operations is a plus.
• Good math and computer skills; knowledge of inventory control and pharmacy procedures is preferred.
• PTCB certification is advantageous.
