Job Description

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items and assists customers in locating products.
• Handles transactions, processes returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintains store cleanliness and merchandising.
• Supports pharmacy duties such as entering patient info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting pharmacists.
• Reports prescription errors, complies with pharmacy policies, and handles pharmacy-related communications and inventory management.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, assists with stock rotation, and supports store maintenance.
• Provides photo services and web order pick-up.
• Maintains store appearance and adheres to policies, completing assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.

External Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably with Walgreens.
• Good math, computer skills, and knowledge of inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.
